2024 Registration Information

General Information:

Registration costs referred to on this page apply to all athletes at the applicable age group, however, information on this page is specific to U7/U9/U11 and B/C teams playing at the U13/15/17/19 levels. Please see the Development Program Teams page for more information for A teams playing at the U13/15/17/19 levels.

  • Registration is now open for the 2024 Season
  • Registration fees paid after January 15, 2024 will be assessed a $50 late fee (not applicable to U7, U9 or first time FSA registrants). If you are a first time registrant with FSA, please contact registrar@fastballstalbert.ca to have the $50 late fee removed or a code to remove it in advance.
  • Evaluations for U11 House teams and U13/15 C teams will be held late January thru mid March 2024.
  • FSA has moved to the RAMP registration system. If you have used RAMP previously to register for other sports, you will use your same RAMP account to register your player for FSA. If this particular athlete has not been registered before using the RAMP platform, you will need to register them as a new player.
  • Please note, the fees listed below are registration fees that cover field rentals, facility costs, equipment, association jerseys, and league fees for GEMSA. Depending on the budget of each team there will be additional costs in the form of team fees to pay for umpires, apparel (including jerseys for A teams), tournaments, team functions, etc. These fees will vary depending on the size of the budget, the number of events each team has and if they choose to fundraise or not.
  • Players needing assistance with fees are able to apply for KidSport or JumpStart grants as well as apply to the Fastball St. Albert benevolent fund (details in he FSA Financial Assistance Policy). For more information, please contact fundraising@fastballstalbert.ca

Players at the U7-U15 age categories who reside in the City of Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Sherwood Park or any other area with a local association should contact their local association regarding programs as they are subject to Softball Alberta's zone and player transfer policy. Exceptions are generally only made where no programming is available for that category or for players who make an approved A program team where their local association does not have one.
